Here is what Entelechy has to say, today:
"You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength."
Marcus Aurelius | Stoic Philosopher
In her opus above, Eileen Sorg, a masterfully skilled coloured pencil artist, depicts an unlikely scene. A frail, fragile-looking bird has taken flight although it is weighed down by a rocky, burdensome load.
Many a times in our lives, we too are weighed down by woeful circumstances that normally lie beyond the sphere of our influence. It is in these moments that we must reestablish contact with a spirit within us, that propels us forward, notwithstanding life’s countless setbacks. The Greeks had a name for this spirit. They called it Entelechy.
Entelechy, the realization and actualization of potential, is when, growing cognizant of what we are capable of, we begin to soar through the skies of life, although a boulder is fastened to our frail, feathered frames.
Entelechy is also the name of the spirit that dwells within the Thought-Foundry and inspirers intrepid webtrotters to realize and actualize their full potential!
