Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith.
Steve Jobs, Co-Founder of Apple Computers Inc.
. . .
The tears I cry turn black sometimes.
Coloured they are by lack sometimes.
.
Unsinkable ships float, till sunk.
Watery arms hold back sometimes.
.
The early bird snoozes alarms.
Morning’s missed to the sack sometimes.
.
From the punchline emerged a punch.
Knuckles, not jokes are cracked sometimes.
.
Because pencilled words can be erased,
Miswriting yells “attack!” sometimes.
.
Our age-old quest to outlive time,
Ends with us coffin-packed sometimes.
.
Names exist to identify.
They call me “Hey” – a fact sometimes.
